About the Role
We are presently in search of an accomplished Construction & Commissioning Manager that will be, tasked with overseeing and orchestrating the installation, commissioning, and commencement of operations at one of Schneider Electric's largest client facilities/Site in Sweden. In this esteemed position, you will oversee the site works phase of the project by planning, coordinating, and monitoring site teams of field services engineers, installation teams and sub-vendors for installation and commissioning of all Schneider Electric equipment at the site.

In the capacity of Construction & Commissioning Manager your mandate will encompass the seamless execution of daily operations, harmoniously aligning them with the client's project structure, financial constraints, project timeline, and allocated resources. Moreover, you will uphold stringent compliance with pertinent regulations and standards pertaining to occupational health and safety, quality assurance, and cutting-edge technology within the project and site. Furthermore you will ensure all construction complies with design specifications and feedback to the design team in case of modifications to be implemented (re-mark drawings).

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, monitor and update detailed installation & commissioning schedule and collaborate with Project Manager to ensure that commissioning activities are integrated into the overall project programme.
Management and monitoring of day-to-day site activities, anticipate right resource levels and ensure timely and efficient execution of fieldwork
Ensure that all systems and equipment are properly installed, tested, and commissioned
Responsible for resources, occupational health and safety, and budget tracking in collaboration with the project manager
Ensure all installation is built to Schneider Electric's and industry quality standards.
Ongoing documentation and reporting
Handling project deviations

Location: The majority of your time will be spent working on our customer sites in Västerås and from your home office. However, you will be affiliated with either our Stockholm or Örebro office. The role may also require occasional travel within the Nordic zone.

Qualifications and Experience
Electrical engineering education at the high school or university level, preferably an engineering degree
Several years of experience in managing and working with teams of contractors
Assertive and strong stakeholder communication skills and sensitive to developing and maintaining relationships with customers, general contractor, equipment suppliers and manufacturers
Be aware of the quality, health, safety, and environmental matters related to the works in hand
Experience in a supervisor role and commissioning of electrical equipment as well as LV Switchgear and UPS
Personal qualities: Flexible and reliable, with the ability to switch between technical details and an overarching focus. A team player with a systematic approach
Proficient communication skills (written, verbal) in English, additional Nordic languages is a plus
Experience using Microsoft Project and Datacenter projects with major global customers in the business gives extra merit
