Configuration Management is a field of engineering with focus on establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance and its functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout all stages of its life cycle through control of changes made to hardware, software, firmware, documentation, test, test fixtures, and test documentation throughout the life cycle of a system.
The Configuration Management Engineer is responsible for providing directions for the document management within Region North projects, handling of the project/product database and follow up of the project's document management performance.
The Configuration Management Engineer is also responsible for deliveries of documents both internally and to customer as well as coordination of technical change management as leader of the Change Control Board.

IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Be responsible for the configuration management planning in the project
• Guide project members in methods of working to match CM requirements within the Engineering Main Process
• Support the project team in CM related tools
• Lead the CCB and support the change process
• Take active part in CM process improvement work
• Deliver documentation to the customer and keep track of deliveries made
• Keep track of key baselines within the project i.e. as designed, as built
• Support hand-over of project at project end
• Work in several projects in parallel

• University Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in Configuration Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Experience in areas including embedded SW, HW design, design of safety-critical systems, verification and validation.
• Working knowledge in Rational Synergy/Change, Aras Innovator or similar tools
• Experience in change management and document management tools
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 10% per year in Sweden
• Ability to cooperate with others, be meticulous, solution oriented and quality focused
• Swedish and English business fluent are mandatory for this role
