Who Are We?
The Transmission department currently exists of 14 employees and is part of the Driveline & Electromobility organization. We develop transmissions and gearboxes for Volvo CE. The work is carried out in dedicated cross-functional teams and we have a lot of fun while doing it. Our manufacturing and assembly are done within a 5 min walk.
Our transmissions are installed in our premium equipment, like Wheel loaders and Articulated haulers. This applies, not only to conventional machines, but also to our upcoming range of electromobility machines. We believe in a diverse and creative workplace that brings out the best in everyone.
This is how you can make an impact
In order to secure a competitive transmission offering over time, we are looking for a component leader for transmissions. As component leader/product owner, you take the lead in having the right technical solutions, features and quality. You will be owning the roadmap and ensure a continuous evolution to meet customer demands. Furthermore, you will initiate needed projects and support projects with your leadership and technical knowledge.

First of all, to be successful in this position we believe that you are an engineer with a positive mindset! You are eager to share your knowledge with others and you like working in cross functional teams to get the work done. Secondly, you should have good experience in transmission designs and be proficient in English and Swedish. Finally, we highly value that you to have a relevant university degree.
