For work with our customer we are looking for a Component Engineer
Assignment description
You will be working for the Quality department. The department is involved in all stages from specifying next generation solutions, through design to customisation and support.
Job description
Initiate product numbers, revision handling and structures for new components in different databases
Secure that components continuously have a correct design state and are available to the whole R&D community.
Release of qualified components
Guidance/co-ordination on component selection to support designers.
Updating databases when internal/external customers initiate PCN (Product Change Notification)/LTB (Last Time Buy).
Maintain and update material declaration database
Required competence
You must have a thorough technical understanding of your areas of responsibility, be well structured in your work and have the ability to work independently, but also have the ability to co-operate with other people.
General knowledge in electronics is required
Good written and spoken English
