Overview & Responsibilities:
Plan, execute and monitor ongoing implementation of business- and organizational procedures against contractual and regulatory requirements for the station in accordance with established goals, budget and applicable contracts. The tasks of the position are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the AR and AI as well as applicable law governing air transport.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Develop, propose and execute implementation of new procedures and routines within the organization in collaboration with Department managers, Operation specialists and Service Delivery Managers.
• Maintain statistics and continually monitor the operations and staff to assure correct and efficient implementation of new procedures in order to assure agreed quality standards and objectives are maintained.
• Participate in safety- and performance audits/walks.
• Participate in audits conducted internally or by customers, clients and authorities.
• Conduct assessments and investigations in order to reveal flaws and shortcomings in the implementation of new procedures and/or compliance with quality standards and objectives.
• Participate in client meetings and events to maintain customer-related relations to the benefit of Menzies Aviation.
• Use effective interpersonal communication techniques to share relevant information with department managers and staff.
• Actively participate in departmental shift/staff briefings and staff/management review meetings.
• Mentor and coach operational staff and provide feedback as part of the internal audit process to ensure compliance against operational tasks.
Essential Skills:
• Extensive experience in aviation management and compliance related tasks
• Have good planning and analytical skills
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Be structured and organized and able to prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently
• Be able to represent Menzies Aviation and Customer Airlines at a high level
• IOSA/ISAGO experience
