Saab is looking for new members to strengthen the Compliance team. You will be part of Group Finance reporting to Head of Group Tax. Group Tax has the overall responsibility of direct and indirect taxes and consists of three tax professionals and one company administrator. In your daily work it is important that you have the ability to prioritize and are comfortable with working independently, but also in cooperation with colleagues in Group Tax, Group HR, Group Travel and Global Mobility.
Your role
In this position, you will play a key role within the organization regarding compliance and support Global Mobility and Group Travel with queries relating to compliance and international tax for expatriates, commuters and business travelers.
As a Compliance Specialist, you will monitor regulatory developments, identify compliance risks and implement solutions for mitigating these. You will also advise and interface with Group Tax and interpret the corporate tax advice surrounding Permanent Establishment (PE) and transfer pricing regulations, so that these can be effectively applied in the appropriate context. You will be comfortable with addressing and supporting in legal issues such as tax and social security as well as implementing policies and procedures when establishing business in new countries. You should therefore have a strong understanding of both personal and corporate tax issues and how these can be affected by people movement. You must possess strong confidence for putting compliance first, with a pragmatic approach for risk assessment balanced with being responsive to business needs.
You will also ensure and maintain compliance for direct taxes and employer tax requirements, as well as mitigate tax risks and the risk for a PE in foreign tax jurisdictions from a corporate perspective due to our business travelers' travel pattern. Ensuring compliance in relation to the Economic employer concept will be a natural part of your responsibility. You will also assist in providing guidance related to all kinds of taxation questions for the personnel (for example benefit taxation) and for Saab as employer.
You will also be the driving force in continuous improvements on an operational and strategic level. You will work to improve procedures and establish policies/ guidelines - both in relation to assignees abroad and business travelers. You will play an important role in finding cost efficient solutions for the different international assignments. You will continuously drive the work in developing the internal understanding of Saab 's expatriate processes. This includes collaborating across all levels within the Saab Group such as, HR Business Partners, Labor Law, Group Tax, Finance and other internal functions. You will also participate in external projects with external vendors when required.
Your profile
To be successful in this role you have an academic degree and several years of experience within the field of international compliance. With particular reference to tax and social security. You have good IT skills, excellent knowledge of Excel and the ability to prepare and process data to report on trends and common themes.
You have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships with your stakeholders. Your skill to flourish in a team environment as well as work independently describes you well. You are solution driven using creative and diverse ways to approach a problem or answer a question. You also have experience within project management. You demonstrate confidence, credibility and good judgment. This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

You will be part of Group Tax (Group Finance) reporting to our Head of Group Tax. Group Tax has the overall responsibility of direct and indirect taxes and consists of three tax professionals (including Head of Group Tax) and one company administrator.
