Our current Commodity buyer is taking next step into Category Manager within Veoneer, therefor we are seeking new person to fill her position
What You 'll Do
We are now looking for a person with good communication skills and proven experience of purchasing roles.
As a Commodity buyer you support and implement Commodity Strategy, manage supplier meetings, supplier negotiations, local data governance, new customer project support, internal maintenance projects support, RFQs.
You will also support production sites locally and/or globally with agreements, negotiations on price and volume, supplier follow up meetings and other strategic tasks i.e. risk analysis and risk mitigations. Also operative tasks such as order handling, securing allocated material, invoice and price management and volume/price analyze.
The commodity area for this role is electronic components e.g. semiconductors, microprocessors/microcontrollers, memories, regulators, ASICS.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:
• Documented experience of purchasing roles with negotiations and supplier contacts
• Good skills in ERP-systems, Share point and Microsoft Office
• Experience in global sourcing, sourcing decisions, negotiations and managing a supply base
• Experience of purchasing of electronic components and a basic technical know-how
• Strong verbal and written communication in Swedish and in English.
Education
• University degree in economics, purchasing, engineering or other relevant education for the role.
