Color Application Technician Siegwerk Business Unit
Liquid Food Packaging (J2010308)
Location Limhamn, Sweden
Siegwerk BU LFP is looking to strengthen the customer support team with a Color Application Technician. This is a key position in our team as you will be working in direct contact with our global InPlant organisation and support key customer projects.
In this position you will perform a broad range of technical and hands on duties supporting the organisation.
Duties and Responsiblities
Support global InPlant organisation with color and the color matching process. Provide training and generate process documentation. Support customer projects with hands on color matching. Evaluate new equipment and procedures.
Troubleshooting and problem solving support.
Assist R&D in development projects.
Education and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of technical school preferably in chemistry.
3-5 years professional experience in hands on color matching.
Hand on experience of flexography and offset printing inks.
Experience of flexo and offset printing.
Competencies and Experience
Customer communication
Service minded
Strong responsibility skills
Language: English spoken and written and preferably a second language either Spanish,Chinese, French or Russian
Demonstrated initiative in problem solving and troubleshooting
Literate in computer software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other colleagues of the organization
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international team environment
Manage individual assignments
