We are now looking for an active and self-driven Chief Accountant with relevant experience in an international environment.

As Chief Accountant for Sweden you will be managing a team of currently 3 persons located in Stockholm and you will be reporting to the group accounting manager located in Paris.
Your main responsibilities are detailed below:
• Ensure the reliability and integrity of the Swedish company
• Ensure the monthly reporting of both companies to the Group, in a timely manner and in the requested format (as per IFRS rules)
• Be the interlocutor of the external auditors and ensure the statutory filing of the two entities
• Ensure the filing of the tax returns, as per the local requirements and in a timely manner for both entities
• Ensure accuracy and filing of VAT reporting of both companies in a timely manner
• Manage a team of 3 accountants
• Be a key contributor for the deployment of a new ERP (SAP)
• Actively contribute (with the tax and legal departments of the group) to the merger of the two legal entities
• Cascade the processes and policies of the group locally and ensure they are applied

Profile

Education: Accounting degree

Experience: In depth knowledge of Swedish accounting rules and requirements

5 to 10 years of working experience, including a working experience as Chief Accountant.

Competences: Fluent in English and Swedish (French is a plus but not mandatory), ease with IS tools (Excel, Access, Hyperion, SAP), rigorous, autonomous, reliable and willing to work in an international environment
