The role

The Channel Marketing Manager Nordics is responsible for developing, executing and measuring marketing plans and lead-generation programs for specified regional area (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland). This includes all aspects of joint program participation, direct marketing and awareness campaigns, partners seminars and events, promotions and follow-up on all activities with partners. The Channel Marketing Manager Nordics is also responsible for all first and second level channel activities being in line with corporate (brand) guidelines and supporting the Wacom strategy and objectives. She/He will have to define requirements for partner sales tools, partners communications and trainings for the local market. This position will report to the Manager Channel Marketing Northern Europe and will work closely with the regional sales team.

Channel marketing activities includes

• Act as a “linking pin” between Sales and Marketing department
• Develop and execute quarterly/annual activities and promotional plan in partnership with the Senior Regional Sales Manager to support revenue generation and the local/EMEA strategy (pro-active control and 4 eyes principle with Sales representatives for MDF)
• Successfully lead products launches to channel partners including the development of appropriate collaterals and tools for the local market
• Proactively manage online product content to ensure accurate and up to date information is presented
• Offer marketing support to distributors and local sales partners to ensure that all activities provide a good ROI and to challenge inadequate proposals
• Support the local Sales Team and give feedback to the BUs, the EMEA Channel Marketing team and the different Marketing departments including product management
• Initiate and implement POS materials and steer the POS approach with the different partners, external sales force and sales
• Develop tailored channel marketing content e.g. value propositions for marketing campaigns, to support local marketing sales initiatives
• Manage local channel events and support the events team in larger Wacom driven exhibitions

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Number of initiated and implemented campaigns and marketing activities within budget
• Brand execution at channel (all levels)

Candidate profile

Suitable candidate will be a skilled and experienced channel marketing professional with a strong personality and drive to implement and to realise channel marketing strategies and activities. The experience ideally includes retail and etail business within a similar line of business.

Skills and experience

• 2-4 years experience within the field of Marketing or Sales
• Strong understanding of the distribution channels for the industry
• Good understanding of vertical market needs such as photo, 2D/3D animation, illustration
• Project management experience (including event management)
• Adobe Creative software skills
• Used to work in a matrix organisation
• Good writing capabilities
• Analytical
• Fluent in English and Swedish Language, additional other Scandinavian language preferred
