Job Summary:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Channel Alliance Account Manager to join us in any of the Nordic countries of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, or Finland. In this role, you'll manage and develop strategic partnerships across the entire Nordic region. You will work with executives to encourage the adoption of Red Hat's leading open source solutions. You will identify and manage a pipeline of incremental revenue and new projects with named alliance partners for all offerings and services, and you'll advise the corporate accounts team on new opportunities. As a Channel Alliance Account Manager, you will focus on generating new business opportunities and developing the ecosystem in the Nordics.


Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Generate new business opportunities through the Red Hat ecosystem in the Nordics
• Identify executive sponsors and promote the success and measurements set out in the plan to be reviewed during quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
• Initiate proof of concept work for specific projects or generic repeatable solutions
• Ensure that Red Hat Technologies are used in partner solutions
• Manage all relevant programs and offerings by working with teams across Red Hat, product marketing managers, and technical leads into named partners
• Establish training and enablement plans and activities
• Oversee weekly forecast and business reports on activities
• Manage sales challenges and market development funds to efficiently accelerate joint growth in the market
• Establish a strategic vision and have it established with jointly agreed business plans

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software in association with alliances and system integrators (SIs)
• Solid business insight
• Experience building and benefiting from sales relationships; proven record of closing high-value contract negotiations
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to articulate the vision and positioning of Red Hat
• Expertise in and experience with direct sales, along with the ability to recruit and manage a virtual team
• Ability to develop, build, and deliver against business plans and explain the business benefits of the Red Hat solutions portfolio
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining a high attention to detail
• Good strategic thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively present to technical and executive audiences
• Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and regional focus
