A key strategic objective is to enhance our products and ensure deliveries exceed client expectations. To accomplish this we are building our new Global Service Desk Organization and are now looking for a Change and Release manager to drive and develop this new part of the organization.
Your role and responsibilities
As the Change and Release Manager, you will play a significant part in delivering the next generation service-based technology to Nasdaq's clients around the world. In this role you will be responsible for implementing and managing change and release processes. You will be responsible for the value stream that delivers effective business change and for the holistic process of bundling multiple changes together to single deployments.
* You will work collaboratively with all stakeholders in Dev, Test and the PMO and others
* Track and communicate any changes in service that may impact our global clients
* Managing software releases from development right through release
* You will work strategically to develop procedures and methods for efficient and prompt handling of all changes in order to minimize the impact of change
* Make the change management process more proactive and predictable
What you will bring
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Solid work experience within Change and Release Management, preferably working with Cloud based products/services
* Knowledge of the software life cycle
* ITIL experience
* Has a broad knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and architectures
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* A strong inner drive and adaptability, in addition you need to thrive in a fast changing environment
It would be great if you have
* Solid understanding of project management principles
* Financial industry knowledge
* Innovative and thoughtful leadership as a previous leader or striving to become one
