Do you want to join the Finance Department at Volvo Car Body Components as a CFO/Business Controller?

Each production team has an overall responsibility for quality, economy, delivery and team development. As CFO/Business Controller you will be leader for a team of 7 members. You will be responsible for Volvo Car Body Components (VCBC) Business Control and secure that local accounting complies with legal requirements. Head of Mission is, to lead the Finance team and to act as Business Controller within operating Manufacturing (corresponding to approx. 2000 employees).
By being a member of VCBC Management team, you will have a high potential impact on the company development and performance.
Main responsibilities
• To lead and develop the Finance team at VCBC
• Responsible that VCBC comply with legal requirements
• Member of VCBC Management team with overall company responsibility
• Business Control and Support at a company level including: secure business plan, forecast, closing of books and initiate efficiency activities
• To challenge the organization with proactive action for financial and performance management
• Develop the Business Acumen by training / coaching operations in economics
• To have an active part in formulating objectives within the operational activities, e.g. through the development of new performance indicators
Required qualifications
• University degree in relevant economics education
• Good understanding of financial IT-systems (SAP/R3 is meritorious)
• Your written and oral communication skills are fluent in Swedish and English
• Leadership experience
• You have the profound experience of Financial processes in a large company, within area of Business Control is meritorious
• Experience in manufacturing / industrial process is meritorious

• You like to work with people and you are able to manage change within your area of responsibility and keep employee motivation high also in challenging times
• Flexible and target oriented personality with the ability to challenge, combined with ability to meet deadlines
• As a person you are proactive, structured and accurate
• Good communication and analytical skills and the ability to see a whole - Holistic view
• Ability to cooperate and create network, as well within Finance community as in relationship to Operations
• Pedagogical skills in collaboration with the operating unit (leadership)
