We are now recruiting a Certification engineer to Siemens in Finspång!
Are you our new colleague?
You will be responsible for identifying local regulations and certification requirements that apply on our gas turbine installation at the installation location and communicate this to the project.
In the project you are the focal point for all certification activities. Your role includes to plan and document all activities needed to meet the certification and/or local regulations. This may consist of co-operation with regulatory authorities and third party organizations, collection and submittal of necessary documentation as well as inspection co-ordination. The work may include international travels.
The challenge
* Contract review identifying local regulation and certification requirements (and document these)
* Analyze how local regulation and certification requirements apply to the product and communicate this to the project team
* Create and communicate certification plans for projects
* Collaborate with authorities and third-party certification organizations to verify the requirements and to obtain necessary approvals.
* Coordinate work in the project team to obtain necessary documentation needed for above approvals and assist the project team during meetings with Customer and sub-suppliers
Who are you
* You are motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
* You have the ability to understand and break down requirements in a way that is easy to understand
* You like to work individually and also in project teams
* You have 2-3 years of experience from working with quality control/assurance
* An all-round experience from mechanical and/or electrical industrial applications.
* Experience from technical documentation, legal and quality documentation are advantageous
* Knowledge of Siemens Gas turbine product is an advantage.
