As a Category Manager you are responsible for the Nordic and BU agreements within the Job Site & Indirect Portfolio. You are responsible for signing frame work agreements as an Nordic Procurement Unit (NPU) representative according to the NPU Governance Structure. You will also work close with the construction development department.
You take part in developing and implementing the category strategy for IT & Communications. Together with your category team you will be responsible for developing category strategies and deliver to sourcing plans.
Responsibilities:
• Supplier negotiations, signing agreements, process and policy developments and sourcing activities (RFx).
• Implementation activities: implementation planning, system implementation and creating and supplying your internal customers with communication material (agreements, catalogues, process/policy descriptions etc.).
• Support Contract Management: You will support the Contract Management for the category in following up and take on project compliance, and develop action plans to increase contract compliance.
• Supplier relationship: You will be responsible for the Supplier relationships within the category. This contains gathering of market situation (index, prices, trends etc), renegotiations, supplier follow up meetings, prepare supplier performance reports, follow up on supplier performance etc.
• Commercial responsibility: Commercially responsible for the category (e.g. contracts, cost development).
• Support other categories within the Job Site & Indirect portfolio.
Your workplace will be in Solna, Sweden.
Requirements
We are looking for a person with interest in IT related questions and/or experience of Purchasing. Preferably you have experience of category management, change management and process development.
You are:
• analytical and thorough
• energetic with a commercial thinking
• striving to optimize cost, quality and safety
• good at organizing and planning
• communicative and have great social skills
• able to cope with uncertainties, find solutions and deliver results
• have a University degree in Economy or Engineering or similar experience
We also see that you have experience in negotiations and good English skills (written and spoken). You have skills in Microsoft Office and other IT-tools.
