As a member of SCM, you will develop, plan and implement SCM strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for Prefabricated and Mobile SS and ensure the supplier capability and capacity, assuring that SCM is embedded in the value chain, manages supplier relationship and provides, beside competitive sourcing, market information for strategic decision making
Your responsibilities
Map local, regional and global supply base with capabilities and footprints.
Review qualification process of the existing supply base and assess the suppliers' technical capabilities.
Build the category strategy upon CIPS methodology.
Develop the cost baseline that can assess TCO of the solution globally.
Develop the cost modelling and Global Price Database.
Align the category strategy with relevant functions/stakeholder including but not limited to: Program Manager Modularization, Global Product Manager, Global and Regional Engineering Manager, Global and Regional Marketing & Sales, GIS Global Category Manager, Contracted Services Global Category Manager.
Contribute to idM4Vision cost estimator.
Define process governance where applicable.
Align technology platforms with other Global Category Managers and Business Global SCM Managers (Suppliers' Panel, Price Database, etc.
Your background
Master's or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or business administration
Good communication and networking skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial attitude
Work experience in the energy segment
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a project environment
Technical interest and ability to solve complex problems independently
You are a team player, driven, structured and have a result-oriented mindset
Fluency in English and Swedish is desirable
