We are looking for world class talent to join our team of over 200 people at our R&D Centre in Malmö, who are working on the future of IoT, to deliver outstanding user experiences, on both physical and digital products and services.
Job purpose
As a Category Manager you will ensure compliance of purchasing policies and provide management for the Group. The role includes cost and budget control, continuous improvement of processes, agreement negotiations, reduction and optimization of our providers' ecosystem and securing information flow between stakeholders. To succeed in the role, you need to be confident to drive and implement savings, master plan purchases, negotiation processes and support in strategic projects.
The role is mainly focused on technology purchasing within IT and telecom. You need to have extensive knowledge of various IT systems, structures of telecom, storage and the underlying technology. As our Category Manager, you should have a close collaboration with our Directors of IT and IT Operations to ensure compilations, plans and savings initiatives within the whole IT organisation.
You will report to our Indirect Procurement Lead Nordics in the Procurement Department. The role will include some travelling (mainly in Europe). The position Is located at our R&D Center in Malmö, Sweden. Our bright and open office space is just a 5-minute walk from the Central Station.
Main Responsibilities
- Acquisition of products, purchase monitoring and control of the technology/IT/telecom categories
- Develop reports and reporting procurement processes
- Ensure compliance of the procurement policies including approval and evaluation of providers and processes
- Implement master plan purchases and saving plans
- Monitoring and evaluation of the providers' performance
- Briefing and negotiation of framework agreements with suppliers Management and maintenance of suppliers
- Cost control over suppliers and product
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Purchasing in an international business
- University degree within Engineering or Business Administration or similar
- Deep knowledge of Technology/IT/telecom
- Experienced negotiator with a cost-conscious mindset
- Profound knowledge of agreements and commercial law
- Confident in process management and implementation
- Previous experience with international providers
- Fluent in English
