Job Description
As Category Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead a global category with vision, strategy, and compassion. You'll help shape the future of how we source, develop, and deliver carbon steel - all while championing an environment where everyone can contribute, build trusted relationships, and play a part in a more sustainable IKEA.
Your assignment will include:
Leading the category - from strategy through to execution - in collaboration with colleagues from IKEA's Home Furnishing and Components businesses.
Developing and implementing the Category Business Plan, ensuring alignment with IKEA's long-term goals and commitment to sustainability.
Building and guiding high-performing, inclusive teams, nurturing individual strengths and fostering a culture where growth, trust, and togetherness are valued.
Driving innovation in materials and production techniques to reduce cost and CO2 emissions, supporting IKEA's sustainability journey.
Strengthening supplier relationships through transparency, shared objectives, and a focus on long-term progress.
Qualifications
