We are now looking for an experienced buyer to join our team in Indirect Procurement Logistics. Your main area of responsibility will be procurement of Rail- and Terminal services. We look forward to extend the team with yet another skilled and experienced category buyer who enjoy working in a dynamic global environment.
As a Buyer at Procurement you have the following areas of responsibility:
• I deliver and follow our purchasing strategies in order to meet the company 's needs for future technologies and concepts
• I own and manage my supply base, making sure we have a balanced base of financially healthy and competent suppliers with an optimal footprint supporting sustainability
• I plan and execute supplier selections in accordance with agreed strategies and in close co-operation with category team and stakeholders
• I make sure contracts are correct, completed and stored in a timely manner
• I secure that all purchasing deliveries are met prior to each program mile stone
• I co-operate within the category team and with all stakeholders to secure supplier capability, capacity, quality and timely deliveries
• I drive suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize running business by identifying and implementing commercial, technical and supply chain cost saving opportunities.
• I proactively seek ways to optimize running business supply base while assessing and managing supply base risks.
• I take full responsibility for my business and co-operate with the other team members to achieve a balanced workload and delivery of all tasks in our backlog
• I continuously keep all relevant systems updated to enable real time data transparency
• I provide and ask for developing feedback
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in the role you need to have a business mind-set, be target oriented, performance driven and enjoy taking commercial responsibility for assigned commodity
Your curious and analytical set of mind enables you to challenge the existing setup, You enjoy working co-operatively in teams as well as independently driving and completing tasks
You need to be structured to manage complex sourcing projects and the many interfaces connected with this role and you are confident to act in an international environment.
You
• have a university degree or equivalent
• have minimum 3 years of experience from a relevant Purchasing role and above listed sourcing activities
• have worked with supplier management and contractual topics and are used to drive fact-based negotiations/discussions
• have worked with sourcing strategies
• are a true team player and you give and ask for support
• enjoy collaboration in teams as well as independently driving and completing tasks
• need to be structured to manage complex projects and the many interfaces connected with this role
• are confident to act in an international environment
• are fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
