WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US
At H&M Group, you'll step into a global role where your strategic thinking and collaborative spirit truly matter. As Category Buyer, you'll help shape how we source non-commercial goods across markets, working closely with stakeholders to unlock long-term value and drive meaningful change. With sustainability, innovation and teamwork at the heart of everything we do, your impact will help shape smarter, more sustainable ways of working across our entire organisation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Category Buyer at H&M, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategy for non-commercial goods. Your expertise will drive efficiency and value across our sourcing processes, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals.
Your responsibilities include:
Develop and implement a comprehensive category plan for non-commercial goods, focusing on strategic sourcing to enhance procurement processes and achieve optimal value from a total cost of ownership perspective.
Perform spend analysis and evaluate spend categories to pinpoint improvement opportunities. Continuously manage spend to make strategic adjustments in line with organisational goals.
Establish and nurture a supplier base that meets company and category requirements. Oversee supplier relationships to ensure they align with business needs (SRM/SPM).
Ensure compliance with contracts and monitor performance to secure sustainable outcomes.
Utilise analysis and external factors to identify optimal pricing strategies and execute effective negotiations.
Drive strategic changes to foster development and improvement within your category, including managing change initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, guiding Category teams and influencing key decision-makers.
Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets related to cost, sustainability, lead times, delivery and quality are met.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will collaborate closely with various teams and departments within H&M, including Category teams and other internal stakeholders. You will also engage with external suppliers and partners to ensure alignment with our business needs. Your ability to influence key decision-makers and maintain strong relationships across the organisation will be crucial to driving success in your category.

WHO YOU ARE
You're a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and a drive to deliver results. You thrive in complex environments, where collaboration and influence are key to success. With a strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach, you're ready to take the lead in developing category strategies that support both business goals and sustainable outcomes.

We also see that you have:
