hela Sverige The department Powertrain control is responsible for development of control functions for driveline applications. We work with the complete development cycle from requirement to implementation and calibration in machine. Our applications are gear shift control and gear shift strategy for power shift transmissions, brake control, brake blending and traction control. We are now in a phase where we will start up a lot of new technology development projects and we need to increase our organization with skilled engineers to be able to handle all new challenges.
Job description:
You will work as a calibration engineer within driveline control and you will be involved in both early design phases and late industrialization phases of projects. In the design phase you will develop and evaluate new functions and control algorithms together with our SW function developers and in industrialization phases you will focus on test and verification and parameter calibration of functions. Your responsibility will be to ensure that the machines fulfill requirements regarding safety, quality, comfort, drivability etc. The work will be carried out in simulation environment as well as in electronic test rigs, transmission test cells and in complete machines. It will be required that you spend a lot of time in the machines to get full understanding of the application.
The end application is heavy machines such as wheel loaders, articulated haulers, motor graders or trucks. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional project with representation from both electronic system and mechanical design.
General qualifications:
Master or Bachelor of Science within the areas of Mechatronics, SW-engineering, Electronics, Mechanical engineering or similar
Experience from development of transmissions, driveline systems or other mechatronic systems are desirable
Knowledge in controls, simulation, mechatronics, signal processing, sensors and actuators. test and verification, meassurements etc
Knowledge and interest in heavy vehicles
Good communication skills in English are required and in Swedish is desirable
