Calibration Engineer - Propulsion Vehicle Control

The section Vehicle Propulsive Control and calibration works very close to the end costumers and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration of the in-house developed software Propulsive Vehicle Control (PVC). The PVC controls the engine, transmission and hybrid system regarding propulsive attributes and is allocated in the Engine Control Modul. The group Propulsive Vehicle Control Calibration is responsible for the calibration and testing of the PVC-software for both conventional vehicles and hybrid. We are today 20 persons and are now looking to strengthen our team with a motivated engineer.

As Calibration Engineer you will get a chance to influence the vehicles performance, driving characteristics and features of the vehicle as well as fuel economy. You will report to Manager Propulsive Calibration.

Main responsibilities

• Calibration of vehicle functionality in the PVC-module
• Responsible for the activity planning and realisation of activities in the project
• Participates in expeditions (hot/cold/high altitude) and other activities within the project team
• Harmonise relevant data between different driveline configurations and vehicle lines
• Report the functions ability to meet requirements
• Contribute with a broad perspective of technical details

Required qualifications

• University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Driver license, B
• Strong interest in cars and the industry
• Previous experience from Internal combustion theory
• Previous experience from Control algorithms theory
• Previous experience from hybrid cars is highly meritorious

• Appreciates the strength in building networks
• Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team
• Comfortable in a complex technical environment
