We are currently seeking a skilled CAE Engineer in this assignment and contribute to improving the strength and durability of components. As a vital part of the engineering team, you will support design and test engineers by performing FEA, including meshing, running simulations, and post-processing. Your role will involve providing quick feedback through close collaboration with the design and testing departments, working in short iteration loops. Additionally, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our methods and tools, ensuring we stay at the forefront of engineering excellence.
Your main tasks are:
• Conducting comprehensive FEA to support and improve component design and durability
• Collaborating closely with design and test engineers, providing rapid feedback and solutions.
• Engaging in short iteration loops for efficient and effective problem-solving.
• Continually enhancing our simulation methods and tools to maintain industry-leading standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
• A MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent.
• High competence in HyperMesh and a solid understanding of PD process.
• Experience in Python scripting and Abaqus (meritorious).
• Knowledge and experience in durability assessment of chassis-mounted components for heavy vehicles (meritorious).
• At least 5 years of work experience in the classified area
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• High IT maturity and experienced user of Office 365
