Bosch Thermoteknik AB develops, manufactures and sells a complete range of heat pumps. Our main focus lies in the development of energy-efficient products with particular focus on renewable energy. We are about 300 employees in Tranås, and sells for about 900 million/year. Our most famous brands are the IVT and Bosch.
Dina arbetsuppgifter
Position Summary
Develop mechanical construction concepts for heat pumps components and assemblies, including:
• Produce solid models of parts (3D) and ensure product assemblies,
• Generate engineering drawings (2D) for all product components,
• Specify materials and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing taking into account manufacturing processes,
• Create mark-ups for new revisions,
• Participate in product design reviews and FMEA,
• Propose and drive mechanical solutions in accordance with function, cost, quality and users' requirements.
• Quality improvement and optimization of existing heat pump products range.
• Cost reduction of existing appliance platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Master of Science - Mechanical Engineering
Technical skills:
• Experience in the design of metallic and plastic parts in industrial environment, preferably using CAD 3D Unigraphics.
• Knowledge in the design of refrigeration and hydraulic components and systems is valued.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
Personal Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions.
• Results oriented and pro-active attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem solving mindset.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Leadership experience is a benefit.
