SKF's extensive knowledge of rotating equipment is captured in Machine Health's products, enabling SKF to accurately predict bearing failure in our customer's equipment.
Your main responsibility as Buyer / Planner will be to ensure that schedules are planned, orders are placed and suppliers deliver to our required dates. To also ensure that good communication exists between supply chain and demand chain / finance dept.
Job responsibilities:
• Establish excellent communication and relationship with the different working partners within and outside SKF
• Manage inventories at suppliers (finished goods, Kanban, VMI and SKF material stock)
• Manage service returns and RMA support
• Procure raw material and components in support of service organizations or suppliers
• Perform Volume planning and Supplier forecast
• Perform master scheduling and secure ATP (Availability to promise)
• Respond and support urgent order process
• Manage supplier order to invoice process
• Continually react to MRP order requirements
• Continuously contribute to improvement of existing and development of new processes
• Run/ participate in improvement and development projects
• Support competence development of his/ her colleagues
• Ensure all SKF/country Standards of control including financial are complied with.
Job Requirements:
• Understanding of High tech procurement
• Basic technical awareness and/or a certain level of technical interest
• Experience of working in SAP/MRP Environment is qualifying
• Experience to work in project teams
• Understanding of procurement contracts
• Experience of cost reduction and total cost reduction
• Negotiation and finance benefit understanding
• Work as part of a team and add value outwith Job description

• Excellent command of English and Swedish, spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills
• Supplier focussed
• Willing and able to travel occasionally
• Strong personal drive and commitment
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Work remotely from boss
