hela Sverige We are seeking a Buyer for our client in the Vehicle Structure team, responsible for components within the Closure/Glass and Roof Team. This team is a part of the Global Platform Team within Procurement, and you will be part of a dynamic and ambitious team of buyers located in Sweden, China, and the US. As a Buyer, you will manage components throughout the development, industrialization, and running production phases.
Responsibilities:
• Manage components through the entire process
• Work in a cross-functional team with other procurement, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and others
• Understand the product/service, its market, supply base, and innovation to increase value for our client
• Lead negotiations and build relationships with an international supplier base
• Handle order management and capacity assurance
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of procurement experience and negotiation skills
• Strong collaboration and accountability skills
• Strong business insight and financial acumen
• Strong influencing skills and strategic mindset
• Actively seek new ways to grow with a strong internal drive
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Analytical and fact-based oriented
• Ability to independently drive and perform tasks in a structured way while managing competing priorities
Qualifications:
• Commercial or technical university degree or equivalent working experience
• Experience in procurement is meritorious
