hela Sverige As a BU Regional Marketing Leader, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Market Analysis
• Track and analyze the regional power grid, industrial and transport market dynamics and forecast demand.
• Translate regional market research results into impact analysis and recommendations for the business strategy and offering portfolio of the BU
Customer Value
• Stay afresh of customers' views on the BU offering portfolio from relevant channels: ensure close contact with BU sales and front-end-sales, organize "Voice-of-Customer" campaigns whenever appropriate, lead win/loss and NPS process for the region
• Map and track customer value drivers such as products performance, market prices and delivery models within the region with the relevant BU offering segmentations.
• Lead competitive intelligence for the region
Portfolio Management
• Unveil competitive gaps and white-spots of the existing BU offering. Translate gaps into specification and provide feedback to the respective product management leadership.
• Align global product roadmaps with regional business pipeline and needs. Manage the regional product releases (pre-information to sales, events, etc.)
• Shape growth strategy, business models and business plans for the introduction of new BU offering in the region. Actively support their implementation.
Product Promotion
• Build up regional marketing plans based on the global GPG strategy, new offering introduction plans and regional business strategy.
• Support regional promotion campaigns and customer events in coordination with BU communication, product management and sales.
• Release promotional materials focusing on regional needs in alignment with promotion portfolio of the GPGs.
Leadership and collaboration
• Be the lead representative of the global product management team into the region: influence and bring global product strategies into meaningful regional implementation and go-to-market initiatives.
• Lead the coordination of market & customer information coming from BU sales, Front-End Sales and Account Management from the specific countries into a full regional view.
We are looking for an experienced marketer within the manufacturing to industry segment in Europe. The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Business Management or Engineering with 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing and/or selling industrial systems (ideally in grid systems) within the region of responsibility, which is Europe.
You should have the following knowledge, skills and experience to be considered for this position:
• Proven experience in customer-facing activities: sales management and/or product promotion with an existing network in Europe, or ability to build a strong network.
• Solid influencing and networking skills, matured in an international and multi-cultural environment.
• Strong consultative and collaborative skills and ability to act as the interface between product management and sales.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to synthetize complex or ambiguous issues into simple and clear statements.
• Self-motivated, driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for B2B marketing.
• Technical understanding of grid integration products and solutions.
• Analytical and financial skills to perform market analysis and prepare business plans.
• Active interest in energy economics and politics, reading the specialized trade press, market research reports and other specialized publications.
• Ability to travel 30+% of the time.
As a BU Regional Marketing Leader, you will be a part of Power Grids Division and the Grid Integration Business unit. The competitive energy market requires innovative and reliable solutions for effective integration of power from conventional and renewable generation plants, and efficient transmission and distribution to residential, commercial and industrial consumers.
This role will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of the ABB's Grid Integration offering within Europe. In this role, you will translate global product strategies into meaningful regional sales strategies and support implementation with sales, bid & proposal and local FES.
