Job description
Rock Drilling Tools division, RDT, is looking for a Business Support Manager. The Manager will be expected to take a leadership role on all projects under his/her responsibility. You will report to the Division Controller. The work will be executed with resources within the division and in cooperation with Epiroc IS/IT. The function will be the link between Division and Epiroc IS/IT. The function will report to Vice President Finance & administration within Rock Drilling Tools Division but also have a close co-operation with Epiroc IS/IT.

Tasks the Manager is expected to perform include: Liaising with customers (external or internal) to understand the processes and objectives associated to a project and to ensure their requirements are properly documented. Drive process alignment within Division and towards Epiroc. Following the Epiroc IT policy's and strategies and also be a contributor when creating new or updating already existing.

Push for standardization in applications and reuse what have been done in Epiroc before. Be a member in the Epiroc IT coordination meetings and also the I2P (Idea to post calculation) meetings.

Taking ownership and actively supporting all aspects of a project following global process standards and methodologies from Epiroc IT to ensure a successful implementation (within schedule, budget and scope). Always make sure that all projects are recorded and updated in the Epiroc PPM site in SharePoint.

Partnering with equivalent functions within Epiroc and become involved in the various technical aspects of each project to ensure the best solution and appropriate resources are used.

Reporting status of the projects to RDT Management and Epiroc IS/IT.

This role will require some travelling and a special focus on co-ordination between RDT plants worldwide (10).

Responsibilities / Authorities
• Business support for all functions within Rock Drilling Tools Division (RDT).
• Support Project Managers in the projects concerning the business systems and it's integrations with other systems.
• Coordinate the division's process and IT related projects within the division and Epiroc IS/ IT.
• Responsibility for ensuring that the business system and it's integrations within the division are used in a standardized way.
• Work accordingly with the am3 (Application Maintenance Management Model).
• Establish policies concerning these systems.
• Maintain and update system documentation.
• Make sure that users of the systems acquire proper education.
• Establish good relations with equivalent functions within Epiroc.

Experience requirements
• Experience at managing projects of diverse size and complexity.
• Development and participation on cross functional and regional/global project teams.
• A proven ability to translate business requirements into products, projects and programs.
• Experience with Project Management Tools will be a plus.

Educational requirements
• Masters degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Management certification.
• Fluent in English. More languages is a plus.

Personality requirements
• Result oriented and service minded.
• Ability to drive change and make things happen.
• Ability to motivate teams and lead by example.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to both business and technical individuals.
