Responsibilities

• Manage assigned resources as appropriate to the implementation of project related activities.
• Prepare and maintain all project documentation such as; initiation, delivery plans and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are planned and executed in-line with the PMO approach
• Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards.
• Ensure adequate levels of documentation are produced as part of the technical solution.
• Develop and maintain a Communications Plan and keep the business communities appraised of project plans and related implications.
• Production of progress and other management reports.
• Ensure business benefits can be realised or that risks inhibiting realisation are highlighted.
• Coordination of internal and external service providers as necessary to meet project timescales.
• Manage project by applying project management best practices and standards
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects and scope
• Analyze data, anticipate, identify, and mitigate program/project risks and issue
• Manage program/project budget and resource plans including identifying and addressing resource gaps
• Communicate relevant project information including business increment status, risks/issues and dependencies
• Ensure adherence to enterprise business value funnel process and associated governance process and effectively coach others on the processes
• Facilitate vendor contracts, statement of work agreements and relationship between Corporate, Vendor, Business and Information Technology to ensure business increment objectives are met
• Continuously evaluate the delivery of business increments, anticipate upcoming needs, and adjust resources as needed.

• Ability to manage projects from inception to successful implementation
• Demonstrate understanding of a project life cycle- including discovery and delivery
• Be seen as an expert resource in the organization on project management
• Able to negotiate one on one with senior leaders and team members to resolve complex issues
• Ability to form productive networks with internal and external customers, consultants and the vendor community
• Manage a multi-functional team providing leadership and support to ensure project objectives are met
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and data management skills
• Ability to identify problems and bring solutions for consideration to the team
• Ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflict to achieve business results
• Solid research skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on data
• Ability to ascertain communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Ability to motivate and enable others to deliver what they should and on time
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
