During the coming years a large focus will be on strategic and tactical work related to organization, steering, architecture, BI-Tools & platforms and ways of working around BI. We have seen an exponential growth in the demands for BI, and this is expected to continue.
As Business Intelligence Manager you are accountable and a driving force in the evolution of the BI architecture and organization towards the defined BI target. You will prepare and develop decision support for our BI stakeholders. You are responsible for guiding and coaching the leaders within the Service Area BI in their work and for supporting them on tactical and operational levels. You will also have a close co-operation with Operations. The role reports to the IT Division Manager for Shared Support Functions. The BI area is well over 100 people and delivers business Intelligence to most business functions.

Your responsibilities
The job as a Business Intelligence Manager / Service Area Responsible comes with lots of responsibility and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:
• Delivery- and budget accountability towards the business for the whole area
• Evolve and develop your organization and its structure
• Provide clear goals, constraints, plans & budget for the area together with your team
• Be accountable for a sustainable roadmap for BI, both from a business and IT perspective
• Balance cost efficiency vs. agility & speed
Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. And your skills include:
• Senior experience from leadership positions in an enterprise application delivery (ERP, BI or any multi-dimensional IT deliveries, to multiple business functions)
• Senior experience of leading and organizing large projects / maintenance teams
• Experience of working with large scale vendors of IT-Services
• Well-developed communication- and relationship building skills with a business oriented mindset and a genuine interest in understanding business challenges and translate them to capabilities for the BI-area
• Ability to build teams and make people grow practicing a sustainable leadership
• A genuine interest for continuous improvements and leadership
• Strategic and tactical mindset with an ability to deliver results
• Ability to communicate and co-operate with different types of persons and roles within both the Business and IT-Department in a proactive manner
