hela Sverige Do you want to play a key role as the link between Business Analytics, Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting in a world leading Dental Company? Dentsply Sirona is looking for a process driven, technical and ambitious Business Analyst to strengthen our organization in Mölndal. Preferably you have experience within Controlling, Business or Financial Analysis and/or Management Reporting.
The Global Data, Business Intelligence and Analytics department handles the collection and streamlining of data and the development of BI solutions and reports in the Dentsply Sirona group. The team consists of 13 members and work cross-functionally with finance, marketing, sales, commercial, supply and operations. The purpose of the Global Data Warehouse is to have one data repository and being the single truth for the complete Dentsply Sirona Group utilized by all functions. The data and analytics organization are highly integrated in the financial process and a base for management reporting.
The BI strategy is to primarily use Microsoft SSAS, SSRS and Power BI and develop a BI self-service solution and roll-out globally. We also maintain and develop Hyperion Oracle products and we will implement RapidResponce, Kinaxis and Anaplan this year. Our future road map entails, migrating our Data warehouse on premise to a cloud based data warehouse to explore business opportunities with advanced analytics (Machine Learning and AI) as well as implementing Master data management globally including Chart of Account and Chart of Cost Centre. Our vision is to enable data driven enterprise, from reported figures to detailed data cross-functionally within the Global DS group where you will play an important role!
Responsibilities
Act as the important link between the business, IT and finance to support the business
Leading projects, coordinating with the BI developers and back office team, review and ensure compliance of business requirements, testing- and roll out in the financial process.
Lead BI projects or perform pre-studies based on business needs
Responsible for the reconciliation between statistical data GDW and reported figures to Wall Street
Ensure adherence to global finance processes to the finance community if needed to align on policies, principles and guidelines
User support, education, training and facilitate workshops for the user community
Collect the business specifics needs and user requirement in the digital development
Adhoc business and data analysis and validation
Create standardized and effective reports and dashboards and mastering powerful visualizations to enable business insights to senior executives
Background / Qualifications
An academic background, with relevant university degree within Finance or similar
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft products or eager to learn, such as Power BI, tabular or multi-dimensional models, SSRS but also SQL and MDS (Master Data Services) is preferable
Experience and understanding in financial reporting and controlling
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English with great structure and process driven thinking
Highly service minded with the ability to work in a changing environment and enjoy a high pace
Analytical Skills: you will work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions. A combination of understanding the details without losing attention to the broader picture is key.
Critical and Analytic Thinking: you like to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on your findings. Data scientist knowledge is preferable
In the role as Business Analyst it is important that you can work independently, but also find it stimulating to work in a team as well as in a multicultural and multinational environment. You should find comfort in working with ongoing system and process changes. To succeed it is essential that you have good analytic ability, communication skills, and that you are interested in details and ambition to understand complex environment.
