There are several positions within this 18 months program and one of them is Business Governance Manager - LTE. You are welcome to start before the program kick off in June 2014.
Position Summary:
LTE technology (sometimes referred to as 4G) is rapidly spreading globally, and Ericsson has taken a clear leadership on the market. Do you want to join the Ericsson LTE team and be part of shaping the global 4G development and Ericsson's LTE product strategies?
Product Line LTE within Business Unit Networks (BNET) is profit & loss responsible for the LTE product, and we are now strengthening the team in the Business Governance area. The candidate will be part of securing profitability and global leadership of this important product. Join us to shape the future!
The candidate will be performing analysis in the intersection between technology and business, laying the ground for investment and business decisions relating to the LTE product. This puts high demand on the ability to take a holistic view of complex problem formulations. Examples of analysis include:
• Investment cases for LTE Software development, as well as individual technical functionality
• Global uptake of the developed functionality and the corresponding revenues generated. Identify implications for commercial models.
• Business planning for Product Line LTE, with both financial analysis and strategy definition.
You also need to have a strong ability to drive analyses on your own. You will gather facts, analyze information, and share findings in a pedagogic and easy-to-understand way - both through reports and presentations. You need to be prepared to travel and interact with regions and customers.
Description of requirements:
The work requires close cooperation with a wide range of organizations across Ericsson, including Controllers, Product Pricing, Technical Sales Support and Product Marketing functions within PA Radio as well as with our Global sales force and customers. The ability to cooperate well both with direct colleagues, and other organizations to reach results is therefore key. Other qualifications and characteristics:
• 2 degrees, at least one of them being a master's degree. Preferably you have one degree each in technology and business/economics.
• 3-4 years of experience from working in one or several of the following areas; product management, business development, solution management or in a customer sales role in the ICT area.
• The ability to operate in a changing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills and you are fluent in English and possibly one other language.
• Experience and/or training in financial analysis is considered a merit.
We think that you are customer and business oriented and that you have the ability to influence internal and external audiences at a senior level. You possess a natural curiosity regarding trends and market development in the domain.
