hela Sverige This position will be a key participant in the design, implementation and management of the BI reports, analytics, and data integration within the production logistics business control area. Individual will focus on developing and maintaining technologies that support the collection and analysis of information for management to make organizational decisions to generate positive financial results. Individual will use understanding of organizational structure, controlling, finance and technology to gain further insights in the Volvo Group Supply Chain.
Core Responsibilities
Evaluate processes, procedures and systems regarding the financial accounting work and secure they follow Volvo Financial Policies and Procedures
Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions
Identify, recommend and drive required process improvements
Assist the business control team and other departments in analytics initiatives including data visualization, implementation, and data literacy
Heavy data analysis of supply chain data that allows us to predict expenses and identify potential losses
Work within the business controlling team to identify the resolution to problems and issues related to IT platforms and data communications
Review reporting packages to maximize efficiency and support with automation
Support the month-end closing, forecasting, and standard cost of sales process
Secure and validate details from various systems for financial analysis and reconciliations
Design methods and tools to draw financial and operational data from Volvo core systems
Develop organizational scorecards, dashboards, and other tools to analyze data to support the business control team
Performs special projects as required to support management and the business
Minimum Education and Experience:
BS/BA in Finance/Statistics/Accounting/Business Administration is required. MBA is a plus
Two to four years of experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus
Experience in financial modeling and planning, business analysis, data analytics or similar data-driven function
Experience with VBA, SAP Finance modules, Business Objects is a plus
Experience working in a professional environment where sound business judgment, attention to detail, a fast pace and a flexible and adaptable approach are valued
Expert level skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks
Ability to understand team and corporate objectives
Highly skilled with MS Office applications: Access and Excel
Ideal candidate will have detailed systems experience in an accounting/financial capacity
Proven ability to communicate effectively with peers and management at all levels of an organization

Technical learning: Can learn new skills and knowledge quickly and is good at learning a new industry, company, product, or technology
