hela Sverige SKF Motion Technologies (SMT) is a business Unit producing Linear Motion and Actuation System solutions which are used in Industrial Automation, Medical Applications and a wide range of other industries. Our knowledge and competence is bringing every day to our customers in either their final products or their own production environment linked to energy savings, flexibility, productivity and efficiency. The product lines include Linear Actuators, Telescopic Pillars, Ball & Roller Screws as well as Linear guiding. The Linear and Actuation Business Unit comprise of 9 factories and 14 dedicated sales units. External net Sales is approximately 2 BSEK and no of employees approximately 1200 people.
SKF Motion Technologies ABcontains both manufacturing, sales and export unit in SMT with around 65 employees and net sales around 200 MSEK focusing on Actuation Systems and High-Performance Actuators. Our actuator offering covers a wide range of applications, from high-volume offerings to Automotive customers, to specialized Industrial actuators to Oil & Gas, Defense, and many other applications.
The factory was demerged from SKF Sverige AB during 2016 and SKF Motion Technologies AB was formed. Primary target markets for the sales unit is to cover Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. During the year an export unit will be implemented in order to cover regions where no local presence is available for SMT. As a next step on our exciting journey to become standalone company under a new brand in Triton's portfolio we are looking for a Business Controller.
Purpose of the role
As a Business controller you will both work individually with own areas of responsibility and tightly together with your colleagues where today the finance organization consist of three controllers/accountants. You will act as a true business partner, supporting with analysis and reviews but also work with accounting according to IFRS and Swedish GAAP.You will develop new as well as improve current processes for SKF Motion Technologies AB.
Key responsibilities
• Responsible for monthly and yearly closings
• Pro-actively analyze results, trends and business plans with the aim of finding areas for improvement
• Monthly follow-up and analyses, planning and business plan, participation in operational meetings
• Ensure quality in reporting and adapt measurement systems in order to make business flow transparent and support decision-making
• Drive, support and coordinate the Strategic Plan, Business Plan process and other financial planning processes
• Specific accounting areas, such as Annual report, taxes, pensions and various accounting
• Be a speaking partner towards the sales organisation and future export unit
Competence/Experience requirements
• University degree in finance and business administration or similar is required
• At least 5 years work experience from accounting /controlling department in an international company is required
• Knowledge in IFRS and Swedish GAAP
• Experience from developing new as well as challenging old processes and procedures
• Experience from Movex (M3) is an advantage
• Excellent Excel skills
• Fluent Swedish and English is required
• Experience from a complex organisation is desired
• Experience on VAT in order to support future export unit
