The objective for the Finance and Business Control function, KC, is to support and enable profitable and cost-efficient business activities that deliver customer value, volume and margin targets within Sales and Marketing (S&M) and Communications (C). The department is responsible for navigating by performance analysis and follow-up S&M's global activities/business areas in order to support operations to initiate corrective actions. The function carries out several activities including business controlling, analysis, accounting and reporting as well as inventory records.
As one of our current controllers within Central Controlling is leaving for other challenges, we are now looking for an ambitious Business Controller with a solid financial background to be a part of our team supporting Communications.
Communications purpose is to Drive the Shift, the importance of a strong focus on Communications is growing to support this journey, internally and externally as well as short term and long term. The organization include the areas Sustainability, Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Brand Communications, Creative and content production, Event- and showroom execution as well as Communication Development.
Your tasks
As a member of the management team at Scania Communications you will work in close cooperation with 8 managers and provide the team with financial analysis and information regarding the business and project control for Communications. We want you to take a leading role in enabling the business owners to understand how decided activities effect profitability. You will also work in close cooperation with other departments at Scania and you will be responsible for OPEX and Admin analyses, secure correct reporting in book closing and projection deliveries to Corporate Control. Further, drive the development within Finance and Business Control that enable improved support tools, standardized work and systems for new demands.
Your profile
You are Business-minded with the ability to analyse big data volumes, see the main results and convert that into pedagogic communication material. You are fluent in both oral and written English and enjoy communicating financial data with people with different backgrounds. Further, have the capability to convert needs into clear goals and deliveries for the team and cross functions.
You have an MS in Economics and Business Administration or MS in industrial engineering with several years relevant work experience (minimum 5 years of experience as Business controller) with knowledge in HFM/Smart view and MS office. We want you to have a proven track record to challenge and influence an organisation with sustainable results. You use IS/IT tools in order to increase personal efficiency, are thorough, high speed, organized and have the readiness to challenge the current situation or process step by step.
