Kollmorgen is a global company which develops motion control and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and works with customers in many different industries all over the world.

Kollmorgen Automation AB is a part of Kollmorgen and we have our headquarter in Mölndal, Sweden and with offices in the US and China. The target is to provide world leading technology for the rapidly growing market of AGVs and Mobile Robots. About 120 employees are working with product development, professional services, sales, marketing and finance.

About the position
As Business Controller, you will be a part of our Finance and Administration Department consisting of three more people - one Accounting Manager, one Business Assistant/Account Payable, and one Director Finance and Administration whom you will report to. The characteristics of our Finance Team is caring and with a close cooperation.

Apart from your team, you will also have continuous contact with Inside Sales/Customer Service, our Key account Managers, Corporate Finance as well as other people in the organization. As Kollmorgen is an American company, the finance department reports to Corporate Finance in the United States. Traveling might occur 2-3 times/year.

In your daily work as a Business Controller you will:
Report daily and weekly financials
Support the forecasting process
Analyze and report actuals during monthly closing process
Monitor and administrate Checkbooks (travel, consultant, and training)
Be responsible for Accounts Receivables
Provide ad hoc financial analysis
Participate in the preparation of the yearly budget
Support other departments with analysis of various areas, such as profitability analysis, growth analysis, etc
Work with continuous improvement, independently make our processes and work more efficient.
Act as superuser in our Power BI solution and handle the development of our tool together with our IT team.

We are looking for you

As a person, you are analytical and with problem solving skills which makes you see the details as well as the bigger picture to not get stuck if something goes wrong. Furthermore, you plan your work to be able to easily deliver on time to meet business deadlines. We think that you also have some patience when hitting obstacles, such as technical issues.

Since we are a smaller company, we are looking for a person that enjoys learning new things to be able to work and preform in different areas, both now and in the future. Finally, you are a person that asks for help when you need it - no one can know everything and the team highly value tight collaboration and support to each other.

Must have
5-7 years of working experience within analysis where you have found risks and causes. You have worked with budgeting, forecasting and preferable within controlling, business and/or financial.
You have a bachelor's or master's degree within business and administration or similar.
Further on, you can show excellent knowledge in Excel and experience in Power BI.
Experience from working in an international environment, specifically in a U.S. business is a plus.
