Great East Europe Sales Area (GEE) is one of the 4 Sales Areas within TSM EMEA. The area is responsible for Truck sales, Aftermarket operations and Retail development in Russia, Turkey and Market East (Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Central Asian Republics) for both Renault and Volvo brands.

We are now looking for a Sales Area GEE - Business Controller

In collaboration with the GEE Sales Area Chief Controller and TSM EMEA departments, the controller will manage the implementation of decided action plans and coordinate the execution of the required analysis. He/she will work closely with TSM EMEA Commercial Control to perform high level analysis, in order to support Markets as well as Sales Area Management team.

The position will report to the VP Sales Area Chief Controller.

Main key responsibilities are:
• Bring to EMEA Commercial Control the voice of the field and be updated on all relevant developments in the Markets
• Drive and develop the short and long term agenda for the Markets, by both challenging positively and supporting the Markets
• Coordination and prioritization of the action plans towards Markets (bottle neck effect) under supervision of Sales Area Chief Controller (focus on Strategic Objectives, Operational Plan and Sales & Marketing long term ambition)
• With the support of Commercial Control risk analysts, monitor, assess and recommend actions to ensure the right level of Sales Area commercial risk
• Gathering of all analysis needs coming from Sales Area and markets (BRM's or performance development analysis) and any adhoc demand raised by Sales Area or Market management
• Key partner for Financial Planning & Performance:
o To discuss monthly actuals and being informed about issues status from the log report (with ACC)
o To comment on the forecast development and if the Markets submissions are in line with on-going plans; sit also with this department for inputs on monthly estimates
o To ensure that management reporting delivered by FP&P is aligned with Sales Areas management needs
• With the involvement of EMEA Commercial Control, coordinate the different projects with Financial Process Improvement to ensure quick return to the Business
• Support the Sales Area Chief Controller in the different initiatives with EMEA Commercial Credit Risk & Sales Financing department
• Stay updated on all relevant developments in the Markets and take active part in the development of new business strategies
• Being informed about the progress on the open items from Internal Audits

Background and critical key competencies:
• University degree in relevant financial field(s) or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English
• Ability to proactively drive business improvements
• Ability to translate financial analysis into actions and solutions
• Experience in business control and financial management
• Working experience from Wholesale and Retail operations in the Market place
• Experience from commercial activities and processes
• Strong analytical skills
• Good computer skills in required systems such as Microsoft office applications and Essbase, BEX/BCS, SAP
• A strong team player
• Absolute integrity
