Our mission is to search with broad focus, to find entrepreneurs in the sector and through a continuously improved process at our hands, help them verify their game ideas and build sustainable and growing businesses. Throughout the years, we have helped renowned studios like, Coffee Stain, Iron Gate, Landfall, PocApp, Hiber and Stunlock.
You will be part of a successful and committed team of business coaches, working together for our startups acting in a highly competitive market. Our main location is at Science Park Skövde, with a satellite at Lindholmen, Gothenburg.

The role
In the role of business coach, you meet developers who want to realize their dreams as entrepreneurs in the gaming industry. With a coaching approach, you help them stay focused and work on what's important, whether it's verifying the commercial viability of the game or preparing the company for an investment.
Our process of supporting startups includes both group lectures as well as individual counseling and coaching. Together with your colleagues, you will keep the process up to date on content and models to be able to accelerate the entrepreneurs' knowledge and skills in an educational way for them to achieve their goals and reach the market as fast and successful as possible.
Who are you?
We are looking for you, who have:
• at least 3 years of experience in the gaming industry
• had a role as a producer/designer and/or in marketing/sales
• a university-level degree in any of these areas or earned skills through previous positions and experience
• great understanding in business development and how sustainability affects the business model in the gaming industry
• great knowledge and skills in a data driven industry
• pedagogic experience and a coaching approach
You love creating and facilitating captivating presentations and workshops, regardless of the meeting forms (digital/physical/hybrid). If you have run a startup yourself, it is in your favor, but not a requirement.
As a person, you are independent, driven, empathetic and have skills in building relationships. Your way of working is result-oriented, structured and including. You have good knowledge of the gaming industry in general and your network is international and up to date. Swedish is not necessary, but your English is second to impeccable.
Work type
Permanent employment, full-time.

About Science Park Skövde
Science Park Skövde Startup is a unique, non-profit organization with the task of helping to create startup games and expand the gaming industry in Sweden. Through a proven and tailor-made program, we incubate game entrepreneurs and their teams, equip them with the skills needed to run a game studio, and launch their first products in a global market. Since the start in 2004, we have had the leadership in the Swedish innovation system to work with the gaming sector and helped about 100 teams reach the market. The startup program is runned by Science Park Skövde AB and is financed by Vinnova, Region Västra Götaland, the European Union, Skaraborg Municipal Association and the Municipality of Skövde.
