You will be part of an engaged and kind team in an international and multicultural environment and within a department developing our future IT solutions in the Purchasing and Operational Management Digital Delivery area.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be involved in several activities including stakeholder requirements elicitation, end-user studies, process definitions, pre-studies, modeling, and design ideation to find optimal and efficient solutions. You will participate in projects and enhancements activities aiming to create modern and innovative IT solutions for Group Trucks Purchasing. Your responsibility will cover advisory and support to stakeholders to gather and identify their needs and problems, as well as research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to address them.

Together with IT architect you will document requirements and technical specifications.
You will work closely both with business representatives and development team.

In our unit we identify and execute on digital initiatives in collaboration with Business Areas & Group Functions. The organization is responsible for managing solution design and deliveries within specific areas, as well as driving modernization and transformation towards products.

Key responsibilities
Gather and clarify requirements from business stakeholders about new functionalities
Deliver User Stories and execute User Acceptance Tests
Plan your own work according to the delivery plans in the backlog
Work with several business stakeholders and delivery teams to find the right solution to business needs
Act as the link between the business and delivery team
Be responsible for the documentation of functional and non-functional requirements, as well as developed solutions
Adapt to changing conditions in an agile way with a strong customer focus
Supporting the team in requirements understanding
Work with all levels across Volvo Group and forge meaningful business relationships

Who are you?

You are self-motivated, creative and a team-player. You have excellent analytical skills, and you are strong at building relationships. With effective time-management, critical thinking skills and prioritizing work assignments you are able to lead multiple priorities, make decisions and meet deadlines with minimal direction.

Required competencies
Positive "can do" attitude
Curiosity and analytical mindset - ability to ask the right questions, identify relevant sources and present conclusions
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and willingness to use Agile ways of working
Experience in business analysis or a similar role and proven ability to elicit and document business requirements, relevant education would be a plus
Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders from all levels of the organization
With the job comes a lot of freedom with responsibility that requires you to plan your daily work yourself.
Preferable with an open positive attitude, target oriented, flexible and able to work with limited supervision.
Ability to prepare documentation of requirements and solutions in accordance with obligatory standards
