Hoist Finance is looking for passionate and innovative individuals to join our Group Analytics team in Stockholm. Hoist Finance is a trusted debt restructuring partner to international banks. In plain language this means that we purchase consumer bank loans that are not being repaid. In doing so, we free up resources and reduce risk for our partners, the banks, contributing to a stable financial system. We also support our customers, the debtors, in becoming debt-free through what we call amicable settlements. Our aim is to find a realistic payment plan in an open and respectful dialog with the customer, so they can get back on their feet with dignity. The role We are now seeking individuals who are passionate about data and analytics and who wants to play an instrumental part in the business providing value added analytics that drive business decisions. This is a job that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex analytics into understandable and relatable terms. Through data preparation, tracking and analysis this position provides guidance and direction on key business metrics that the stakeholders in the organisation needs to drive results. With the rapidly changing digital landscape, we at Hoist Finance believe it's key to be at the forefront of innovation and capitalize on its possibilities. Group Analytics think strategically about our business to identify new sources of value to optimize our operations and grow our business. The role requires a self-starter with strong communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and moving environment. The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable working as part of a team with colleagues across a diverse range of functional groups throughout Europe. Main areas of responsibility . Influence cross-functional teams to take action on insights delivered through analytic artifacts /reports or models . Research new ways for modeling behaviors and performance through quant analysis . Creation and maintenance of key performance metric reporting . Special projects assigned.

Desired skills and experience Minimum qualifications.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics . Experience with statistical software (R, Python,S-Plus, SAS, or similar) . 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or related field . Outstanding communication and presentation skills Preferred qualifications . 2-3 year of relevant work experience (Data Analyst / Data scientist) including expertise and experience with statistical data analysis.
