We are seeking a talented Brewmaster who possesses extensive expertise and a genuine passion for the art of brewing. At Sweden's largest brewery, it is not just about brewing beer - it is about creating beverage experiences.
Founded in 1987 and located in the picturesque town of Grängesberg, our brewery is situated in the heart of Dalarna, a region celebrated for its rich industrial and craft heritage. A Key Role in Our Continued Journey
As our Brewmaster, you will take full responsibility for our brewing process, overseeing every step from crushed malt to the finished product. Your expertise will ensure that each brew meets our high standards of quality and taste. You will play a central role in our leadership, with significant influence over both strategic decisions and our culture of continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recipes and processes that combine innovation with tradition.
Ensure that our raw materials maintain the highest quality from start to finish.
Optimise our production costs and streamline the brewing process with a focus on sustainability.
Lead and inspire a dedicated team consisting of two managers and XX employees.
Be a proactive force in our change initiatives and actively contribute to our management team.
Represent our brewery in national and international brewing contexts.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and quality in all operations.
Job Specifications:
Qualified Brewmaster from a German university - Diplom Braumeister or equivalent.
A minimum of five years of experience in a commercial beer production
An in-depth technical understanding of both traditional and modern brewing techniques.
Proven leadership experience and a proactive approach to change management.
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of Swedish and German is an advantage.
A valid driver's licence (Category B).

Spendrups is a distinguished family brewery established in 1897, with its heart in Grängesberg. We are proud to be 100% family-owned in the fourth generation. As Sweden's largest brewery, we produce approximately 370 million litres of beverages annually with a range of our own brands in our portfolio. We brew, package, and develop beverages with the highest possible proportion of Swedish raw materials. For instance, over 90% of our malt barley is grown in Sweden.
