About the position
Perido is now helping our client to find a a BI Developer/Analyst to strengthen their team. Our client is successfully investing in innovation and continuous improvement, they develop IT applications, mobile solutions and data warehouses in new and modern technology. The position is new to the technology organization and based in the headquarter in Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
In your role as BI Developer you will have a wide focus area covering the entire backend, from ETL process and validations to data visualizations. Among many other tasks, your workdays will include:
Testing, performance tuning and security setting.
Involvement in BI architecture design and analytical data model development.
Performing data analysis and designing visualizations, dashboards and reports.
Supporting users with BI related tasks.
Coordinate 3:rd party resources and consultants.
Structuring required documentation.
Advise on relevant new services, technology and functionality related to BI.
Furthermore, you will work with maintaining and developing the current DW solution and Power BI reports, making sure it supports the company's needs along with the guidance of a senior BI developer/architect. The position will involve close collaboration with people across the organization and might entail some travelling within Europe in the future.
Your qualifications
To succeed in the role we believe that you need to be a humble team player with a sense for details and that you like to share your knowledge with your colleagues. You have high competence and interest in Data Warehouse development, programming and Business Intelligence. You are experienced with different Data Warehousing modelling principles and Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack. We think it might help you to have good experience of claiming and customer contact, as work will be close to internal clients a lot of the time. No need to say you have good communication skills and can create a good relationship with the stakeholders. With an outgoing and active personality and a willingness to travel internationally depending on business demands, we are sure that you will succeed at your new workplace!

We are looking for you who have:
University education in relevant field
A few years work experience as BI Developer/Analyst
Documentation experience
Experience of data visualization in Power BI
Knowledge of different Data Warehousing modelling principles, such as Inmon and Kimball
Skills in Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Excellent communication skills, fluent in Swedish and English - both written and oral
To advantage
Experience with Microsoft Azure and ADF2, including development of data pipelines
Experience with tools like Power BI, Azure or Tableau
Contract type and hours
Full time, assignment until further notice with 6 months probationary employment. Start as soon as possible.
