Challenges you will work on

As a Base Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role from planning to coordinating execution of base maintenance events for the whole SAS aircraft fleet. You will ensure aircraft remain safe, airworthy, and compliant with EASA regulations, operational requirements and national aviation authority rules.

Your responsibilities include:

* Planning and scheduling of base maintenance tasks to keep aircraft safe, airworthy, and cost-efficient
* Preparing and managing work packages and monitoring critical maintenance tasks, including ADs, SBs, MEL items, and ETOPS/CDCCL tasks
* Coordinating together with Technical Representatives and MROs of maintenance at every stage - from planning, through execution to post-maintenance activities
* Participating in, and leading, daily production and planning meetings to support readiness and resolve maintenance-critical issues
* Reviewing findings, closing open items, finding alternative solutions and driving continuous improvement through post-maintenance evaluations
* Supporting long- and short-term maintenance forecasting, considering aircraft utilization, fleet changes, crew planning and operational needs

The team

SAS CAMO is a highly skilled, collaborative team of engineers and planners dedicated to maintaining one of Europe's most modern fleets. Within this team, you will be part of a group of six Base Maintenance Planners, working closely with Technical Representatives, maintenance providers, engineering, logistics and operations. You will contribute to daily maintenance meetings and support critical operational decisions in collaborative, and international environment.

To be successful, we believe you have

* A technical education or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Solid knowledge of EASA regulations, including Part-CAMO, Part-145 and Part-M.
* An understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and a strong safety-oriented mindset.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken (a Scandinavian language is an advantage)
* Flexible regarding working hours and willing to travel when required (occasionally, depending on project needs)

We consider it as a plus if you have

* Experience from the aviation industry
* Experience in continued airworthiness management and maintenance planning
* Knowledge of one or more aircraft types operated by SAS
* Experience working with AMOS or similar systems

Additional information
