Job Description
You will be involved with enterprise-level Azure-centric projects for some of the largest companies within the Nordic region. Here you will take an active part in designing and deploying cloud environments as well as acting as trusted advisor, technical architect and subject matter expert where needed, to achieve the best client experience and a successful project delivery.
About the Role
As an Azure Cloud Architect at Avanade, you are committed to the cloud where you and your colleagues help our customers and provide them with the technology that will change the business. You are a good communicator and you most likely come from an Infrastructure engineering background with solid technical architecture experience. You are used to taking an active role in leading the technical work and to lead teams working on our projects.
You will be a part of the Swedish Infrastructure Community at Avanade and stationed either in Stockholm or Gothenburg area. Work-life balance is important to us at Avanade; however, travel can be expected from time to time depending on project and/or engagement.
Focus areas connected to the role:
• Apply your technical knowledge to assist in delivering and implementing solutions that meet business and IT needs.
• You will architect application and server migrations using automation tools like Azure DevOps, ARM, Terraform but also Lift and Shift through Azure Migrate.
• You will guide and lead a combination of on-shore and off-shore resources in your projects
• You will work closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design and/or met in the delivery phase.
• Be an active member of the Infrastructure Talent community at Avanade to help grow yourself, your colleagues, and junior peers.
About you
You are a solid technologist with strong business skills. You are as comfortable working with a technical team as with client business users, and you skillfully build collaboration between the two. You are an excellent communicator, are adept at mapping business needs to technology solutions and helping non-technical audiences understand the benefits of these solutions.
Your experience, training, and certifications
• You have extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• You have extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
• You have extensive experience with Cloud Networking, Governance, BC/HA/DR, and Security.
• You have experience or very good understanding with Azure DevOps, DevOps tools and processes, Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools/platforms.
• You hold relevant certification(s) and/or have a proven record from large/complex projects to back your knowledge in the following areas:
o Azure Solution Architect Expert
o Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft CAF and Enterprise scale is a merit
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in consultative/complex technical sales or deployment projects required.

• Possess a 'can do - will do' attitude, that guarantees the absolute best client experience

• High Level English - Spoken and written is a requirement for this role
• Medium Level Swedish - Spoken and written
