Exterior department is looking for a new employee
The Exterior department within Body&Trim develops most of what you see on the outside of the car. We are responsible for the entire process of construction of exterior systems such as glass, bumpers, moldings, lighting, and large injection moulded exterior plastic parts.
We have the development responsibility for Volvo car's all product families and the development work is done in close cooperation with our development suppliers. Development activities are carried out mainly in Gothenburg.

The Section Exterior Trim consists of five areas: Exterior Glass, Exterior Ornamentation, Body Covers and Spoilers and two Functional Black Trim groups.
The role AVA will lead the verification planning and operational development work within the section Exterior Trim.
The Analysis and Verification Leader assures the analysis and verification activities, both continuously and in specific vehicle programs, by leading and coordinating in agreement with PSS, responsible SPL, Attribute Leaders and A&V competence centers.
The role is currently organized in the team Exterior Glass, within the section Exterior Trim.
In the group, which today consists of 19 employees, we are working together, caring and helping each other. We have a great interface that provides both an extensive contact network as knowledge in the many varied property areas. We are now looking for an Analysis and Verification Leader.

Main responsibilities
* Ensure the Road to Lab to Math Strategies within the section and coordinate the development and updating of them.
* Create and update generic Analysis & Verification needs for system, component and function.
* Inspection if method development follows plan.
* Plan AVB workshops before and before .
* Optimize need for test vehicles, Body in White rigs, HIL (Hardware In the Loop).
* Order test vehicles, BIW incl. components and rigs.
When changes prerequisites optimize usage of test objects and make risk analysis.
* Contribute with A&V lessons learned in project "white books" to secure that experiences are used in upcoming projects.
* Drive improvements, support and train in administrative tools for analysis and verification within the section.
Qualifications
We are looking for a committed and inspiring employee who is passionate about cars. The right candidate is a team player, result-oriented, structured and proactive. Thanks to your communication skills you have the ability to create strong and trustful relationships as well as networks.
Your background is a technical degree from university or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical experience. You have detailed understanding of development in the automotive industry. Experience of working with testing is a strength and knowledge of VCC development process in general is an advantage. We believe you have strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
