We are looking for an experienced Automation and MES/MIS specialist who wants to develop, deliver and implement Automation and MES/MIS solutions for our customers. You will work with designing, configuring and testing complete automation and MES/MIS solutions adapted to different customer needs that often require development.
You will join a diverse team called Integrated Solutions team within Processing Solutions and Equipment. We support and deliver advanced integrated plant automation and MES solutions to our customers globally in cooperation with our Market companies.
Work includes a lot of problem-solving, adapting technology solution, implement- and support solution installations. You will be collaborating a lot internally and deliver externally towards our customers which includes travel to customer sites.
What you will do
As MES & MIS Automation specialist you will:
• Advanced Information solutions (MES/MIS), e.g., Batch, data logging, performance reports, Production Scheduling.
• Integration of processing, packaging, ERP, WMS, LIMS, intralogistics etc to create a plant solution.
• Support Product deployment and implementation.
This is a permanent position and you will be based in Lund, Sweden. Some travel is expected.
Who you are
You are, at heart, curious and technology driven. You like working close to customers and act with the customer in mind all the time. Delivering expected solutions with quality accordingly to agreement with strong personal drive.
Furthermore, you are both independent and collaborative able to communicate and collaborate on all levels and towards all stakeholders. You explain advanced technical solutions easily and creates common ground no matter who's receiver.
We believe you have:
• Minimum of five years of experience working with Automation and MES/MIS.
• Relevant Automation, Electrical, IT engineering BSc- or preferably MSc degree.
• Experience of MSSQL databases, Microsoft .Net, C# or other programming language and web application development.
• Knowledge and understanding of the complete plant automation functionality.
• Experience of Aveva Wonderware MES products & solutions are considered as a merit.
• Experience of PLC programming and MES systems. Knowledge or experience of OPC, virtualisation, Production Scheduling, BI tools, system architecture (ip-network, domain, security) and industry standards -S88 and S95 are considered as a merit.
• Experience of integration towards ERP e.g. SAP, MS Dynamics, M3, JDE etc for production purpose
• Experience from the production and manufacturing industry with similar software.
• Should you have interest in or knowledge about concepts like digitalisation, Internet of
Things" and "Industry 4.0", this would be highly valuable.
• Previous experience of working internationally and across boundaries is meritorious.
• Fluent professional English is necessary, written as well as spoken.
