hela Sverige We are the School of Game Design, Technology and Learning Processes ? one of three institutions at Gotland University and the first game education in Scandinavia. We call ourselves GAME for short. With the newly established Nakajima labs, chairing of the International Research School of Game Design (IRSGD) and with record high application numbers we?re looking to expand our department further.
We have been teaching Game Design, Programming, Graphics and Animation since 2001. Over the years we?ve built a strong reputation and a massive international network, enabling us to invite guest lecturers from the global industry and academia on a regular basis. We work very hard to keep our staff educated, updated and in contact with the industry.
Our facilities are equipped with modern technology to ensure high quality work. We provide the campus students with computers, up to date production software and a bleeding edge Motion Capture studio. Ours is a profoundly project-oriented environment, with students working in diverse teams to create games and animations every semester. At the end of the spring semester we bring in industry representatives to help us examine student projects through a huge public exhibition in Visby.
