As an Associate Principal Scientist ? Modelling and Simulation Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• A PhD level education (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• A solid knowledge of the drug discovery development process
• Extensive modelling and simulation experience
• Experience with PK/PD modeling, pharmacometrics, systems pharmacology, systems biology, or related areas
• A detailed understanding of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics
• An understanding of current principles and concepts in safety assessment
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
As an Associate Principal Scientist - Modelling and Simulation Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
• Contributing to the development and implementation of new strategies for translational safety
• Optimising the design of toxicology studies and developing preclinical models to enhance project decision-making
• Working to optimise the impact of modelling in efficacy and safety studies
• Evaluating and interpreting data to prepare for internal governance bodies
• Working in appropriate external forums to champion the use of modelling and simulations in toxicology settings
