JOB DESCRIPTION
As an ASIC Design Engineer you will work with a team of highly qualified engineers and together you will design digital ASIC:s and FPGA:s for our network video surveillance products. Design and verification of large ASIC is becoming more and more complex due to complexity of designs and therefore we need to expand our ASIC design team.
Your main task as ASIC Design Engineer will be:
• RTL design, synthesis, verification and documentation
• Requirement analysis
• Contact with tool, IP and ASIC/FPGA vendors
• IP integration
• SW/HW partitioning
• Participate in design methodology and process updates
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Master’s degree in electronics, computer science or similar and are a dedicated and innovative individual with a strong personal drive. We believe you have knowledge and experience regarding RTL design. You also have experience from any HDL language such as SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL.
Furthermore we believe you have very good communication skills in English and are interested in HW design. Knowledge and experience regarding RTL design is desirable.
If you have experience from working with VMM, OVM and/or e-languages this will be considered meriting as well as experience from C-and Object oriented programming, any commercial ASIC/FPGA design tool or Scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL).

THE CHIP PLATFORMS TEAM
The ASIC:s we are designing at the Chip Platforms team are large with demanding requirements on power and timing and the majority is in-house designed. We work with market leading IP:s and technologies. Together with small ASIC geometry and extensive design work we meet the goals of our customers. We are also designing complex FPGA:s for validation and verification purposes and smaller FPGA:s for product specific functions.
