About Group IT
Swedbank Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
About us
The AM Division Channels & Concepts is now looking for an Architect with the ability to do Design within the Swedbank Java platform –TDE.
About the job
You are responsible, with the support of our architects, to create the best possible system solutions based on the project and Swedbank's objectives. You formulate the design of IT solutions from business requirements and established rules and guidelines, taking into account system as a whole, relations with other systems, infrastructure, technologies etc.
We also want you to be involved in the development and in some cases lead the development of the solution and coach and challenge our other talented developers.
Design and documentation of solutions, estimation of development costs and to make technical presentations of solutions for customers, community members and stakeholders is also your everyday challenge.
As Architect you will ensure high quality on development and maintenance of our Java Infrastructure. You will independently write and improve software code in compliance with specifications, by applying standard programming methods and best practices, following guidelines and processes. You will assist with software diagnosis and troubleshooting in production and other environments. You will participate in maintaining the records of information systems: prepares agreed documentation, provides requested information, or documents code according to requirements.
You will have the opportunity to work in interesting and demanding projects together with highly skilled colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to further develop yourself and work with excellent teams of specialists.
About you
You are an Experienced architect and team leader with over 10 years experience in analysis, architecture & design and development of business software. You have a Master or Bachelor of Science or Technology. You have excellent communication, documentation and cooperation skills. You need to be fluent in speaking and writing English.
We are primarily looking for co-workers with experience of Web services and from roles as architect/designer/developer on the J2EE –platform and several years of experience from our TDE-platform.
